Banking Instructions

There are a number of ways to bank your donation with us:

1. By debit or credit card through Virgin Money Giving

A small commission is charged by Virgin Money Giving on donations. Gift Aid is added where appropriate. Visit our Virgin Money Giving page

2. By debit or credit card through JustGiving

A commission charge is levied by JustGiving on donations. Gift Aid is added where appropriate. Visit our JustGiving page 

3. By depositing the money into your nearest HSBC bank

Use our banking details below:

Cheques and cash can be paid in this way. Please notify your business fundraiser who will ensure the funds are captured against their targets. Also email Angela or Sam at LifeboatFund@homeoffice.gov.uk with the amount you've raised, your Department and where you have paid in. 

If your deposit is from a collection, please let us know so we can claim Gift Aid. 

You can also pay money into any Post Office via Transcash. 

4. If you don't work for a government department

If you don't work for a government department, but would still like to make a donation, you can deposit funds into any branch of HSBC (using our account details above) or into any Post office via Transcash. If you wish to claim gift aid, please let us know by emailing LifeboatFund@homeoffice.gov.uk and we can sort it out. If you wish to pay funds by cheque, please make it payable to The Lifeboat Fund and deposit into your local HSBC into our account (as above) or into your local Post Office. Do send an email to let us know your donation is on its way.
