Great news for supporters of The Lifeboat Fund.

As 2015’s fundraising gets underway, there is now a new way to donate – at absolutely no cost to our supporters.

Online shopping is used by many as an excellent way to give to good causes.  The Lifeboat Fund has just registered with Give4Sure Limited, which means supporters can help us to help the RNLI and its brave volunteers as they shop online.

All supporters need to do is to download our App “Buy for the Lifeboats” from this website on to their personal electronic devices – pcs, mobiles, tablets etc - and then shop as normal.  It’s completely free, automatic and anonymous, and an average of 4% of what you spend will be donated by participating retailers directly to the charity.

Once the charity’s App is downloaded, retailers that donate will appear in red text on your search engine so they can quickly be spotted.

Each time a purchase is made, the App collects a donation from the retailer and sends it to The Lifeboat Fund.  Over 2,000 retailers are participating in this great scheme and paying for donations every time charity supporters purchase from them.  They include: Marks and Spencer, John Lewis, B&Q, Amazon, Sainsburys, Groupon, BHS, British Gas, Currys and Boots.

Large charities with many thousands of supporters are currently earning £1,000s a week from online shopping.  Each active online shopper generates donations of over £5 per month.  The more supporters shop, the more donations are received.

As you do your shopping you can be giving even more than usual, and it costs you nothing.

Please download now and Buy for the Lifeboats!

Supporters in organisations such as Government bodies wishing to support The Lifeboat Fund as an official charity are encouraged to share a link to this article with your Communications teams, so that news of this great way to give can be shared with your colleagues.

The Communications and Public Service Lifeboat Fund (The Lifeboat Fund) is also registered with givingabit and everyclick to increase opportunities for its supporters.  The new registration offers competitive levels of donation.
