The Lifeboat Fund's "Report and Financial Statements for year-ended 31 December 2012" is now available to view on this website.  It includes the annual report and minutes of the 2013 AGM.

Commenting on the 2012 Appeal year, Secretary Angela Saunders (Scottish Government - pictured) said:

“We are delighted that The Fund had such a strong year in 2012.  The Appeal held up impressively in difficult financial conditions – coupled with valuable pension and payroll giving, that meant we reached our target.  The total raised – nearly £120,000 – purchased: new high-safety lifejackets for lifeboat crew members, training for one lifeguard at every RNLI-lifeguarded UK beach, and maintenance for the lifeboats we had purchased.

“In 2012, our lifeboats in the RNLI fleet rescued 281 people, six of whom now owe their lives to their brave rescuers.

"We remain the RNLI’s longest-serving supporter and one of its biggest single contributors.

"The charity is immensely grateful to all of its supporters and donors for such a splendid result.

“I hope you enjoy reading the report.”
