The charity is delighted to post this message from Paul Hook, Specialist Customer Adviser at the Dundee Pension Centre:

“I am looking to take part in 15 events over 12 months, commencing with the Perth Santa Run on 12/12/2015 with the last event being the Perth Santa Run in 2016.

“I am doing this to raise money for The Lifeboat Fund, who support the RNLI. The RNLI is funded by voluntary donations and The Lifeboat Fund was set up 150 years ago by civil servants and communication workers to help fund the good work done by the RNLI.

“This year sees the 150th anniversary appeal and The Lifeboat Fund is aiming to raise £1.1 million for a new Shannon Class Lifeboat for the Wells Lifeboat station.  Over the next 12 months I will be taking part in a mixture of events including half marathons, 10ks, triathlon, aquathlon, cycling sportives and a full marathon.

“If you would like to support me in my fundraising effort please visit my JustGiving page www.justgiving.com/Paul-Hook3/

“There will be updates throughout the year on the JustGiving page.    You can also follow me on Twitter @PHook2003.
Thank you

Paul

Thank you, Paul – The Lifeboat Fund and the crew at RNLI Wells are exceptionally grateful for this tremendous effort in support of the Shannon Appeal!
