10 Pin Bowling Raises £1,800

A 10 pin bowling event has raised £1,800 (and counting) for the Lifeboat Fund. 

Players took part in the team event, and a tombola attracted extra funds. 

APS Group (Scotland) Ltd proudly sponsored the day held at the Murrayfield Indoor Sports Club in Edinburgh. APS Group suppliers also sponsored the lanes and contributed to an event programme. 

The bowling took place on the anniverary of the Eyemouth disaster of 1881, which made the day all the more poignant. The disaster devastated the fishing community and changed permanently the nature of the East Coast fishing industry. 

APS Group (Scotland) have also produced a commemorative e-book about the disaster, with all proceeds donated to the Lifeboat Fund.
