What you are doing to support The Lifeboat Fund's Appeal?

THE LIFEBOAT FUND'S TRADITIONAL APPEAL DAY HAPPENS ON OR AROUND 12 SEPTEMBER (AVOIDING OFFICE HOLIDAYS).

But whenever it suits you to raise money for The Lifeboat Fund, we're delighted to have your support!

Watch for our Supporters' Pack for the 2014 Appeal, which will be issued soon!

Our beneficiary - the RNLI - has several key events in its fundraising calendar which provide possible opportunities for Lifeboat Fund supporters to use branded merchandise or draw attention to the work of that charity and hopefully encourage donations for its Appeal.

The RNLI's SOS Day in January is one such occasion - why not invite donations to collecting boats in reception areas and canteens, demonstrating solidarity with our beneficiary's big event.

Spring sees the RNLI's biggest street collections in London while, across the year, street collections take place in other parts of the country - why not get involved and raise money for The Lifeboat Fund Appeal?   Otherwise, Lifeboat Fund supporters might wish to plan their own events around the country to coincide with these activities.

If you want to discuss these options, please get in touch - with  Angela Saunders (angela.saunders@scotland.gsi.gov.uk) at The Lifeboat Fund; 'phone number: 0131-244 8488.

Of course, you may prefer just picking your own, most convenient time.   Coffee mornings and book sales are popular at any time.  Easter egg events and pre-Christmas Fairs have also proved a winner for our supporters in recent years!
