A team from the Dundee Pension Centre is setting out on an epic 500 mile cycle challenge across northern Scotland for our 150th anniversary appeal.

On 21st August, the team of seven cyclists and two support crew will set out on their five day journey, starting a circluar route taking in Torridon, Lochinver, Tongue, and Helmsdale. They'll also be visiting the lifeboat stations at Lochinver, Thurso and Wick along the way.

The route is 528 miles long, and the team will be climbing at least 7,000 feet per leg, which is a total climb of 35,000ft - or the cruising height of an airliner!

You can donate to the team's fundraising page here: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/dpc-nc500

The very best of luck, and we'll keep a note of progress along the way.
