Civil Service Choir Gets Christmas Underway

Clare Parker
Sunday 10 December 2017

For many people, Christmas just isn't Christmas without a rousing rendition of Handel's Messiah.

On Tuesday 12 December at 1pm, the Civil Service Choir are performing Messiah Part I (often referred to as 'the Christmas Part') plus the Hallelujah Chorus (from Part II). The choir will be singing in the beautiful surroundings of St. Stephen's Church, Rochester Row in Westminster.

The choir of civil servants will be joined in this special lunchtime concert by professional soloists and an orchestra.

Admission to the event is free, but there will be a collection in aid of the Cardinal Hume Centre and the Lifeboat Fund.
